January's message

The weather outside is frightful.

It's true that by January, Toronto is usually covered with much more snow and the temperature is much lower. However, the wind still gets very cold and the nights are very long.

Especially during the cold months, it is important to remember any cats that may be lost or abandoned and in danger of freezing and starving to death. If you see a stray cat in your community, please bring it inside (keeping it separated from your other pets incase of infection) and help save a life. If you see a cat, but are unable to bring it into your home, please notify someone, or a no-kill organization, such as Toronto Cat Rescue, to help you catch it and bring it to safety.

Winters are freezing and stray cats, especially ones that are used to being indoors as pets, are in extreme danger as the temperatures continue to drop. Please do what you can to help save a life .
