Black cats

Black cats have developed a bad reputation in North America for being bad luck. I have two gorgeous black cats - Winston and Matilda - who have been nothing but wonderful and bring me so much happiness.

Black cats are actually one of the smartest types of cats and therefore can be very loving, "dog-like" in nature and very aware. Their high intelligence makes the fact that black cats have the lowest adoption rate even sadder. Cats are clever creatures and they know what is going on when they are not being adopted and threatened with death.
